Defining and growing audiences for Visual Arts in Glasgow

WhiteNOISE aims to provide as complete a picture of Visual Arts audiences across the city as possible, which means everyone in the sector was invited to participate in our first phase of research. We collated input from a broad range of contributors, from curators to marketers, and from contemporary venues to city-wide projects.

WhiteNOISE Visual Arts Phase 1 collaborators were drawn from the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, and represented a rich mix of museums and galleries, artist-led collectives, local authority venues, institutions, independent galleries, city-wide projects, festivals, national organisations based in Glasgow and academic institutions.
